1. Who are you and what is your professional passion?
My name is Annemarleen Mout, I'm from Holland and I have a company in Madrid, Florissimo, that specializes in making arrangements with fresh flowers - the Dutch way! I make all kinds of arrangements, for all kinds of occasions. I'm trying to bring the Dutch touch of working with flowers to the Spanish people. My motto is: flowers bring color to your life!

2. How would you characterize Madrid in three words?

• mundane: because it really is a capital, with all it's beautiful historical buildings and monuments
• fashionable: just walk around and see how the madrileños dress… Impressive!
• 24/7: there is always something to do for everybody, any time of the day/week/year

3. Which are your three favourites spots in Madrid?

• Kabuki: great Japanese food
• Mercado San Anton for a different experience with all kinds of delights
• Del Diego cocktail bar: drinks just as they are supposed to be served

4. What will you and MadWay offer the traveller?
There are few things more relaxing and cheerful then working with flowers: the beautiful colors, the lovely scents, to create something that will decorate a house, an office or even your hotelroom and makes you smile every time you walk past. I would like to offer you a look into this colorful world, by explaining how it became my passion, telling you all you need to know about handling fresh flowers and by showing you how easy it is to do it yourself. We will spend a lovely two hours talking and working together to create something special!
